Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SignatureHQ ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SignatureHQ is a software-as-a-service platform that enables Google Workspace administrators to create, manage, and deploy professional email signature templates to users within their organisation. The Service integrates with Google Workspace APIs including the Gmail API and Google Admin SDK.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for use by businesses and organisations that operate a Google Workspace account. You must be at least 18 years of age and a Google Workspace administrator to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must sign in with a Google Workspace account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

5. Subscription and Billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

A 14-day free trial is available for new accounts. No credit card is required during the trial period. At the end of the trial, your account will be restricted to free-tier limits unless you subscribe to a paid plan.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Deploy signatures containing spam, misleading content, or material that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its underlying infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to process data belonging to individuals outside your organisation without their consent
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission

7. Google Workspace Integration

By connecting your Google Workspace account, you authorise SignatureHQ to access the Gmail API (to set email signatures) and the Admin SDK (to read user and group information). This access is limited to the scopes disclosed during authorisation and is used solely to provide the Service. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google Admin Console.

8. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR where applicable, and that you have the appropriate authorisation to process employee data on your Google Workspace domain.

9. Intellectual Property

SignatureHQ and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the Service, including software, trademarks, and content. You retain ownership of any signature templates, content, and data you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignatureHQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy or completeness of any content accessed through the Service.

12. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and we may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy. Sections 9, 10, and 11 survive termination.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the jurisdiction where SignatureHQ is registered.
